The new partner charities joining the bereavement care network will work alongside existing partners at the royal college of midwives (rcm), antenatal results and choices (arc) and child bereavement uk. They are very pleased to welcome bliss, The Lullaby Trust, the miscarriage association, the multiple births foundation, national maternity support foundation and Twins Trust to the network.
The Bereavement Care Network is a free online resource for professionals who provide, or have an interest in, bereavement care for parents whose baby dies. Since the original site was set up, interest in bereavement care and best practice has increased considerably so they decided to make sure the resources available to professionals were of the highest standard to reflect the quality of care so many health professionals are providing to bereaved parents.
The improved website maintains all the previous features, providing a safe space for health professionals to share and discuss their experiences of bereavement care, share best practice with their peers and access valuable resources and information about bereavement care from a large group of charities.
These 10 charities are working together to create the best possible tool for members to engage with the discussions, find out about upcoming events about bereavement care and download the resources to help them in their practice.
