Volunteer with us

A few hours of your time can make a meaningful difference to our work

Thank you

The Lullaby Trust would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all those who generously give their time to support us. Volunteers make an enormous difference to the work of the charity. We are extremely proud of the Befrienders, cheerers, bucket collectors and others who help to raise money and awareness of The Lullaby Trust and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).

SIDS still claims the lives of three babies every week but thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, more people are hearing about The Lullaby Trust and becoming aware of the importance of safer sleep. We would like to thank each and every one of our volunteers for their commitment, helping us reach more families and save more lives.

Join a committee

Our mission, to create a world where no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly, is made possible because people like you care about making it happen. As a member of one of our committees you can get close to the work that is going to achieve this and use your skills to help drive it forward.

Our sub-Committees support the Board of Trustees and cover a range of area of our work including finance and resources, fundraising and communications, services and our grant-making function. They tend to meet 3-5 times a year so it’s a great way to fit volunteering in with your other commitments.

The deadline for applying is Fri 16 Feb 2024 at 5pm.

Why I volunteer

”Volunteers have always been made to feel very involved and part of the team by the staff in The Lullaby Trust head office. Over the past 30 years I have worked with many very special people, both office staff and other volunteers involved with fundraising for the charity.

“I have had many wonderful and rewarding times in my  various roles whether it was trekking in the snow in Patagonia, making sandwiches for our Marathon runners or stuffing envelopes.  It remains a privilege to be part of the Lullaby Trust and to have seen it grow and develop over the years.”
