Bereavement support helpline
If you would like the opportunity to talk freely, for as long as required, with a sympathetic and understanding listener, please contact us via our bereavement helpline or send an email.
If you’ve been affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child, reaching out for support can feel incredibly hard. For some people, messaging can feel like a gentler first step.
Our WhatsApp support offers a calm, confidential space for anyone over 18 to connect directly with a Bereavement Support Advisor. We’re here to support and help you process whatever you’re feeling right now, at your own pace.
Click to WhatsApp us between 10:00am and 12:00pm, Monday to Friday. Alternatively, open WhatsApp and message us on 0800 802 6868.
You can reach out to us whether your baby died recently or a long time ago. We aim to support you in a way that feels meaningful and helpful to you.
If you’re wanting to contact us at the weekend or on a public holiday, our bereavement support helpline is available from 6:00pm – 10:00pm.
Monday – Friday: 10:00am to 12:00pm*
Please note: This is a live messaging service. Messages are only received and answered during these hours. If you message us outside these times, your message may delete after 24 hours, and we may not see it. If this happens, please message us again when the service is open. There is no limit on how often you can contact us.
