A lasting legacy - the Scottish Cot Death Trust

For four decades, the Scottish Cot Death Trust (SCDT) supported bereaved families through some of the most difficult moments they could face, while working tirelessly to keep babies safe.

As this vital work has transferred to The Lullaby Trust, we are committed to preserving and honouring the SCDT’s legacy. This page exists as a lasting record of the SCDT’s history, impact and place in Scotland’s communities.

Honouring the past and supporting families today

The Scottish Cot Death Trust’s work shaped 40 years of care for families in Scotland. As this work continues with The Lullaby Trust, our commitment remains the same, to be there for every baby, for every family, forever.
