🟡 SIDS and safer sleep for babies

Who is this training for?

Specifically aimed at professionals and practitioners who are working closely with families in a role where giving safer sleep advice is part of their core role.

Two pre-recorded training presentations and videos to watch.

Certification

We will provide a certificate of attendance on receipt of your evaluation form.

Live Q&A session

An optional 45min online session is available once a month (subject to trainer availability) and this gives participants the opportunity to discuss the training material and to ask the trainer practice-related questions. Please let us know via email, once you have completed your booking form, if you would like to attend a session.

The training materials can be accessed on the learning platform; the link for this will be provided to registered participants once payment is received.

If you have booked training with us and do not receive a confirmation, it could be linked to your organisation’s firewall prohibiting emails. If this this the case, you will need to contact your IT team and ask they be released.

🟡 Basic safer sleep: Having opportunistic conversations

Who is this training for?

Designed for professionals and practitioners who may come into contact with families and might have an opportunity to give safer sleep information, however brief their contact is, and irrespective of their role e.g. fire fighters, paramedics, police officers, housing officers, and some health and education staff.

Cancellation Policy

The link to the training materials on the learning platform will be provided to registered participants once payment is received. Please test the link as soon as you receive it, and notify us of any problems immediately by emailing training@lullabytrust.org.uk  so that we can help to resolve any access issues. We will provide a full refund if access issues cannot be resolved. We will not issue a refund if you are unable to attend the interactive session, as attendance at the live online interactive session is not compulsory, and you will have already received access to the training materials.

All live online interactive sessions will take place via Zoom. Please check with your organisation that they support Zoom and test the link to the Zoom session in advance of the live session date.

The Lullaby Trust is not responsible for any individual technical failures that prevent you from attending a live online interactive session.

Our live online interactive sessions have limited spaces. If you wish to cancel or move your place to an alternative date (subject to availability) please inform us 5 calendar days in advance by emailing training@lullabytrust.org.uk  This allows us to offer your place to another person.

Please note we do not record our live interactive session and are therefore unable to provide any recordings.

In the event that we have to cancel a session, you can book onto an alternative date(s).
