We appreciate that supporting families on the CONI programme in the usual way may still prove challenging. We advise that health professionals should follow their current local guidance with regard to providing face-to-face contact with families on the CONI programme.

Telephone contact may be a suitable alternative to providing face-to-face contact for listening visits and reviewing symptom diaries. Although not ideal, new enrolments may also be carried out by phone and the Enrolment Form completed online and submitted to the CONI Team. For CONI babies whose weight is being monitored weekly/regularly and there is concern about faltering growth, then follow local guidelines for these babies.

Please regularly check the CONI webpages for information as national guidance is continually evolving. The CONI Team can be contacted via coni@lullabytrust.org.uk and The Lullaby Trust Information Helpline (0808 802 6869) is available for general safer sleep advice.
