In February, our amazing supporters took on The Lullaby Trust’s virtual challenge, February Fifty. Supporters were encouraged to walk, run, cycle, swim or row 50km (or more!) and raise £50 (or more!) for The Lullaby Trust.

Paul, who completed the challenge, shares his experience:

“I took part in the February Fifty challenge in memory of my son Toby who died 30 years ago, aged 17 weeks, from an unknown cause (SIDS). I found him dead in his pram downstairs where he had been sleeping when I woke that fateful morning. The post-mortem said he was otherwise healthy and well-nourished.

My challenge was to cycle 1050kms here in Spain during February. I found it quite cathartic at times as I was thinking of Toby every day, which I wouldn’t normally do after all these years. Most of all I was encouraged by the rest of Team Lullaby and overwhelmed by the generosity of my sponsors who, at time of writing, have raised £1196.”
