'n Lullaby Memorial
A Lullaby Memorial can be a focal point for family and friends to post messages and photos, light candles in remembrance or make a donation in memory.
We’re going to share how you can receive support through your own bereavement, and also how others can support those who may be navigating life after baby loss.
You can expect stories from people who have experienced baby loss, relevant resources, podcast and book recommendations, and ways to remember your baby.
Keep an eye on our social media, and feel free to share posts that resonate with you. This way, we can keep grieving families supported, together.
When a baby or young child dies, the ripples are far-reaching. The heartbreak is felt not only by parents, but by the whole family, their friendship circles and the professionals who cared for the little one.
If you feel like content about baby loss may be challenging for you during this week, we’re here to help if you need support. Our bereavement support helpline is open to everyone that may be affected by the bereavement of a little one, whether you held them in your arms or supported the family from afar.
Call us on 0808 802 6868. Opening times:
Alternatively, you can email [email protected].
If you’d rather receive support in a different way, we also offer family days out, the Care of Next Infant programme, and a Facebook-ondersteuningsgroep.
You choose the location, the distance, and any date during 9-15 October. You might like to choose to host one in a place that’s special to you. And you might choose a distance that’s meaningful, such as a kilometre for each month of your baby’s life. You can make it your own and do whatever feels right for you.
Whether you’re personally affected or want to be an ally to those who have experienced infant loss, we’re coming together as a community that cares for each other. By walking in memory of a baby or child, you’ll be creating a lasting impact in their name, by helping other families.
When you sign up to hold a Little Stars Walk you’ll receive an LED candle lantern bag to shine brightly in memory of your baby.
Plus when you raise £100 you will be invited to join our Sky Full of Love. If you raise £300 or more from your walk, you’ll receive a personalised star decoration, with either your or your loved one’s name on, to say thank you.
