Although we are again unable to hold our usual, in-person events this Christmas, we’ve still got plenty of ways that you can get festive and support The Lullaby Trust online and remotely.

Donate to our Big Give Christmas Challenge appeal between 30th November and 7th December

Save those dates! Between midday on Tuesday 30th November and midday on the following Tuesday, 7th December, any donations to The Lullaby Trust will be doubled as part of The Big Give Christmas Challenge. If you’re thinking of supporting us this Christmas, why not donate during the Big Give and have your gift go twice as far?

This year, our campaign will be aiming to raise money for our work promoting safer sleep for babies advice and preventing sudden infant death  – this includes providing training for professionals, running our national Safer Sleep Week campaign and reaching at-risk groups with our expert information.

You’ll find the live link on our website and social media platforms between the above dates.

Buy our Christmas cards

Our 2021 range of Christmas cards is available now on our charity card shop. We are very excited to have added a Hanukkah card to our stock this year too. Why not send one of our unique designs to your loved ones this festive season and support The Lullaby Trust at the same time?

Festive fundraising

Below are a few ideas for other creative activities that you can take part in to raise money for our work this Christmas. There’s plenty of home-based ones in there too!

  • Christmas Crafts – Check out our elves’ workshop for craft ideas that you can sell for donations.
  • Secret Santa – Instead of buying another mug, why not agree with your colleagues to each make a donation to a charity that’s important to you this year?
  • Christmas jumper day – Everyone wears their best wacky woollens and donates. Get your workplace, school or playgroup involved, or hold a zoom fashion show!
  • Elf yourself – Offer your services as an elf in the weeks leading up to Christmas and help with shopping, wrapping or whatever else your friends and family might need in return for donations.
  • Letters from Father Christmas – Offer to write letters to friends and family’s children in return for a donation.
  • Christmas film nights – Host a festive movie night with your friends and family, or hold a sponsored 12-hour movie marathon.
  • Festive quiz – Be your own quizmaster and charge friends, family or colleagues an entry fee to dig out their best festive facts. You can do this in-person or online!
