We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic supporters to join us in forming local fundraising groups around the UK!
These groups will play a vital role in helping us raise awareness of The Lullaby Trust and our safer sleep messages across the UK to ensure that we meet our target of halving SIDS by 2020. Local Groups are in great position to engage with their local community and know how best to do this using their networks and skills.
What are Local Groups?
Local Groups are made up of dedicated individuals in a community that come together to raise funds for The Lullaby Trust. They will design their own calendar of fundraising events, planning and organising how they can best raise funds in their area.
Each Local Group is unique and their members will have different strengths, passions and resources available to them – that’s the fun of it!
Download our local groups guide for more information about what is involved in being part of a local group.
Who can join a Local Group?
Anyone! As long as a person is willing to fundraise for The Lullaby Trust, they can be a member of a Local Group.
What does the role of a Local Group member involve?
Roles will vary depending on the activities your Group decides to carry out; a Group may decide to keep it simple by focusing on public collections and supporting our National Campaigns, or they may want to boost their fundraising by organising their own events in the local area. As a member you may get involved with finding event venues, booking collections, promoting events, sourcing prizes for raffles… all sorts!
What support will I get?
Your Group will have a dedicated member of The Lullaby Trust fundraising team who will be on hand to answer queries and support you through your fundraising journey.
