The 2018 Grantholders event will take place on Thursday 18th October at 11 Belgrave Road, London SW1V 1RB. The Grantholders meeting is an opportunity for researchers from a diverse range of specialities to share their findings with colleagues and guests to further their own and others’ knowledge of sudden infant death. The Grantholders meeting is open to all.
The event will be chaired by Prof Helen Ball, Chair of The Lullaby Trust’s Scientific Committee and presentations include:
- Investigating the microbiome in sudden unexpected death in infancy and childhood (SUDIC), Lily Gates, PhD student, UCL GOS Institute of Child Health
- Recruitment to the Cessation in Pregnancy Incentives Trial, Prof David Tappin, Professor of Clinical Trials for Children, Glasgow University
- Oto Acoustic Signals Investigation Study (Final Report), Prof Peter Blair, Professor of Epidemiology and Statistics, University of Bristol
- Sudden unexpected death in childhood (SUDC): Characteristics, autopsy findings and investigation, Dr Victoria Bryant, Clinical Research Associate, UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health
We are pleased that Michelle Lynch, Bereavement Midwife at North Middlesex Hospital will also be talking about the baby box initiative at North Middlesex Hospital.
