Dad putting baby to sleep on their back in a cot.

Training overview

This in-depth training is designed for health professionals and practitioners who work closely with families and have a core responsibility for providing safer sleep advice and want to feel more confident in having effective, compassionate conversations about safer sleep and reducing the risk of sindrome della morte improvvisa del lattante (SIDS).

Within the training you’ll explore the fundamental messages around creating a safer sleep environment for babies and how these practices can help reduce the risk of sudden infant death. You’ll explore how to recognise and make the most of reachable moments, those key opportunities where parents and caregivers are most receptive to information.

The course features informative video presentations, supported by additional reading materials and publications to reinforce key learning points.
