This is a tough but rewarding 1 day challenge that will see you walking a marathon-distance from Hampton Court to Millennium Bridge. You’ll be following the Thames Path for 42km, which allows you to see the changing landscape from leafy areas of west London through to the bustling city sights further in the east.
Our challenge starts near Hampton Court, and after passing Teddington Lock you will see the historic green space of Old Deer Park and Kew Gardens. After passing upmarket Chiswick and Barnes, you’ll continue through Putney and Wandsworth to the beautiful Battersea Park, before heading over the bridge to pass right next to the Houses of Parliament. Next, you’ll head through the hubbub of the South Bank, where you’ll see the famous sight of Millennium Bridge welcoming you to your finish point.
