This is a great opportunity to join a busy team and make a real difference to new parents and the professionals who support them.
Due to a high demand for safer sleep advice our Support and Information Team are looking to recruit a new role, Support and Training Officer 1-year Fixed Term Contract. 2.5 days.
Working as part of a team of 7, this new role will work closely with colleagues to help deliver our new online training to professionals, facilitating live Q and A sessions and webinars and assisting with the recording of online webinars and presentations for professionals. We are increasingly responding to enquiries on social media so you need to be able to connect with a diverse range of audiences using digital means.
You will need to be skilled at giving advice and support both written and verbally, direct to families or as part of our recorded webinars/presentations and comfortable answering our helpline information enquiries.
Knowledge of safer sleep is not essential as we will give all the training you need but what you will need is an ability to pick up information quickly, to connect and communicate with different audiences, and be committed to our overall aims of reducing infant mortality and supporting bereaved families. You will be a front-facing advocate for the Lullaby Trust.
This is an interesting and varied role which would suit someone who enjoys working with people to make a difference.
The post is currently remote working though some travel to London may be required. We are open to negotiation over how the hours might be worked but they must include some on a Friday.
